| My first martial arts achievement was a Yellow sash in Tien layi chuan Kung Fu in April 1989. I started Wado Ryu karate with the National karate Assocation (now the National Karate and kickboxing Assocation) in 1990. I acheived 4th kyu in November 1993, and the club was disbanded in 1994 due to lack of members. I studied kickboxing for around 18 months 1996-1998. Working shifts stopped me from training until 2000 when I took up Jujitsu. I moved to Bournemouth in August 2001 to study full-time at Bournemouth University. I briefly studied Thai Boxing and Brazilian JuJitsu with Bulldog martial Arts Academy in Bournemouth. In 2002 I started JuJitsu with Jitsu Foundation acheving my yellow belt in May 2003. I started Shotokan Karate with the J.K.A in December 2004. | ||
